At Mind Your Higher Ground, we use a combination of professional coaching, mindset coaching, and healing-centered coaching tailored to support high-achieving Black women in overcoming burnout, reclaiming personal power, and reconnecting with their authentic selves. This holistic approach ensures that clients receive support that is not only goal-oriented but also deeply aligned with personal healing and sustainable growth.

It’s oriented toward the present and future, helping you identify and achieve specific goals. Therapy, on the other hand, often explores past experiences, trauma, and mental health challenges, focusing on emotional stability and well-being.
In coaching, the focus is on guiding you toward finding your own answers and solutions. A coach acts as a facilitator, helping you identify goals, overcome obstacles, and develop skills. Consulting, however, involves giving specific advice or solutions based on the consultant’s expertise. In coaching, the answers come from within you, while in consulting, they come from the consultant.

The skills and insights gained through Mind Your Higher Ground—such as owning your story, setting boundaries, practicing self-care, letting go of the superwoman title and embracing authenticity—can enhance your ability to succeed without burning yourself out in professional settings. Many participants find that their renewed sense of self impacts their work positively, helping them to lead more intentionally and manage workplace stress effectively.
Mind Your Higher Ground is inclusive of multiple healing modalities. that cater to various aspects of the mind, body, soul, and spirit– personal, professional, mental, physical, and spiritual growth. We incorporate a variety of tools, including mindfulness practices, spiritual practices, visualization, journaling, boundary-setting exercises, self-reflection prompts, and more. This multi-layered approach allows clients to grow holistically.
Yes, we offer 1:1 coaching; however, due to the primary focus on the RISE to Higher Ground group program, only a limited number of 1:1 spots are available each year. If you’re interested in personalized support outside of the group program, please reach out to us for more details on availability and to discuss your needs.
For 1:1 clients, you will have email and chat access between sessions.
For RISE To Higher Ground clients, you will have email support and 3 30 minute 1:1 sessions available to schedule throughout the program.

The RISE to Higher Ground program is a 12-week transformational journey designed specifically for high-achieving, self-identifying Black women who are ready to overcome burnout, reconnect with their authentic selves, and live a life aligned with their highest potential. Through guided coaching, a supportive sister circle, and holistic wellness practices, this program empowers participants to reclaim their power and build a sustainable toolkit for personal and professional well-being.
This program is specifically designed for self-identifying Black women who are committed to personal growth and well-being. We aim to provide a safe, culturally attuned space for Black women to explore challenges, set boundaries, and embrace their highest selves.
Participants can expect to dedicate about 3-5 hours per week to the program. This includes time for live sessions, reflection exercises, and engagement with your cohort. The program is designed to fit into busy schedules while offering enough structure to facilitate meaningful growth.
The program is structured around 12 progressive sessions, each with a specific theme. We begin with setting intentions, exploring roots, and addressing limiting beliefs, then move into creating empowered identities, setting boundaries, and sustaining growth. This structure helps participants experience a natural progression of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment.
While RISE to Higher Ground is specifically tailored for Black women, we do offer community and corporate workshops that are open to all. These workshops focus on personal growth, empowerment, and resilience and are suitable for diverse audiences. Each coaching session provides a safe space for self-reflection, exploration, and growth. Sessions may include guided exercises, discussion of goals and challenges, and actionable steps tailored to your needs. Coaching is highly interactive, and you are encouraged to engage actively, set intentions, and embrace new perspectives.
While we do not offer financial assistance at this time, we do offer payment plans. We believe that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to personal growth and success, and we want to make the program as accessible as possible. We currently accept payments through Stripe where in addition to major card providers, and digital pay options, includes Klarna and Affirm. Please keep in mind that this program is an investment in yourself and your future. The MYHG Sister Circle is an exclusive, supportive space for women who have completed the RISE TO HIGHER GROUND program or participated in 1:1 coaching and wish to continue their journey alongside others. This ensures that all members share a common foundation in empowerment and growth.
